Kudos to the brilliant Jessie Buttermore for capturing all the love and smiles that radiated throughout. Take some more peeks into her work here.

The Best Day of Our Lives

When we woke up on Sunday morning, we realized all that had occurred the day before wasn’t a dream but both of our wedding dreams had come true. It’s true what they say, “take it all in; the day will fly by.”

Even with all our pre-planning and preparation, our special day wouldn’t have been as magical without all the love and support from you! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you! We love you!

Wings Win!

We were fortunate to spend this past Saturday at the Joe watching the Detroit Red Wings battle the Edmonton Oilers.

With Warren having been born and raised in Edmonton, this game marks the only time in which Warren is able to obnoxiously cheer for the opposing Detroit team. He even has his own Oilers jersey. Die-hard.

To my amazement, he was not alone. Lots of Canadians were at this weekend’s game cheering on Yakupov and team. Fortunately for me, Wings led 2-1.

Maybe next time, Warren…

$8 Well Spent

Over these past couple of weeks, I’ve come to realization that I don’t drink nearly enough water throughout my day. I would normally start my day at work with a water-bottle filled with H20, but by the time it was empty, I would never refill it. By the evening hours, I was feeling lethargic and dehydrated – just in time for an intense workout. Great! Not.

cupSo just last week, I enticed Warren to come to Bed, Bath & Beyond with me to find this little prize… A plastic, 24 oz. to-go cup with a straw. I’m finding myself drinking 4-5 of these a day without any effort. Added to that, just screw on/off the top to refill. Easy-peasy.

If you don’t think this story is compelling enough to boost your water intake, then here are 10 more reasons why you should drink more… water:

  1. Helps to lose weight
  2. Healthy skin
  3. Fights infection
  4. Gets rid of body toxins
  5. Healthy heart
  6. Prevents joint pains & arthritis
  7. Boosts energy
  8. Prevents constipation
  9. Reduces risk of cancer
  10. Improves productivity
